Sakura starlight bracelet, sun

I really love these new "firefly crystal" beads-- clear glass with small internal flecks that glow bright green under ultraviolet "blacklight" conditions, or more dimly under ordinary darkness if they've had enough light to eat first. I've been trying to work out this pattern for weeks, but couldn't get it to look right until the big firefly-crystal ovals entered my life.

The result is this ethereal ~7-1/2" bracelet This picture shows it under indirect natural sunlight.

The main focal beads are life-sized pink cherry blossoms: flat five-petalled flowers with translucent streaks. I've added small garlanded "stems" of yellow/green-streaked oval tubes with smaller yellow and pink bellflowers and bitty pink bud-drops, delicately curved petal/leaf drops in transparent pink, various bitty seedbead spacers, and of course the large green-streaked firefly-crystal ovals.

I don't know where the firefly crystal was made, but all of the other beads are imported Czech glass. I've hand-strung them onto 20lb-test gel-spun polymer stronger than steel wires. The endcaps and trigger/split-ring clasp are sterling silver.
